<p>首先是排名，<strong>排名虽不是全部，但不可否认也是一个学校和学系的重要标签。</strong>以2018年QS世界大学排名作为参照，中大于经济学与计量经济学的范畴，分别位于亚洲第七名和全球第三十八名，处于名校前列。</p> <p> </p> <p>除此之外，<strong>中大为学习提供了一个绝佳环境</strong>，校园划山为地，处处都有自然风光，是远离都市喧嚣的一片学术之地。</p> <p> </p> <p>若要提及中大在基础设施和各种学习、生活相关设备的优势的话，便离不开讨论<strong>本科生独特的书院制度</strong>：本科生入学会被分到九个不同的书院里去，各个书院都会有自己配套的宿舍、餐厅、自习室，甚至有的书院会有夜读室、健身房、图书馆、琴房等等。不但学习氛围浓厚，课余生活也多姿多彩。</p> <p> </p> <section data-style-type="5" <p><strong>中大经济学学制四年，采用的是灵活学分制。</strong>经济系主修的毕业生要求修读经济系相关课程共72学分，系里开设的所有必修课和选修课都可以在经济系官网上查到，每年都可能会有细微调整，查询时要以学生特定的入学年份为基准。</p> <p> </p> <p>除了只会在特定学期或要求在特定学年修读的课程外（例如seminar形式的导修课以及两个final year projects），其余的选修课甚至必修课的修读时间都能够由学生自己来安排，<strong>课表的内容由自己判断轻重缓急，自己衡量workload，自己做主。</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>经济系下还设有不同的concentration（专修范围），concentration是由同学选择的选修课来确定的。参照官网上最新的章程（2018-19入学适用），经济系一共设有5个concentration：Economic Theory，Financial Economics，Business Economics，Chinses Economy以及Data <p>理论方面有以必修课程的宏观经济学和微观经济学为代表打下的坚实基础，配套的经济数学课程以及统计学、计量经济学为学生的数理分析能力提供了重要的支持。<strong>从原理出发，让学生透彻地理解公式的推导和运用。</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>有些课程还会带有技能型的workshop，来学习R studio、Stata等等实用的数据分析软件。除此之外，还有例如经济史这样的了解中国大陆与香港的经济发展史实课程，亦有预测分析、时间序列、金融数据分析这样的量化研究类课程。</p> <p> </p> <p>另外，经济系还提供了一些专门课程帮助学生了解香港独有的问题，具有自己的特色。</p> <p> </p> <section data-style-type="5" <p> </p> <p>四年的学习生活带给我的一个很大的感触便是<strong>中大经济学的教授和讲师，都特别平易近人。</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>在学术问题上，他们在下课后、office hour、邮件预约甚至work in的时间都非常热心且有耐心地解答；平时在路上遇到时，会很友好地打招呼并且很愉快地聊上一会儿天。</p> <p> </p> <p>关于沟通的语言问题，在下课后，除了英文，他们也很愿意用中文和学生沟通，如果内地同学的广东话水平不是非常好，他们也会试图用普通话去解释问题和做日常交流。</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>在经济系学习，每个学生还会配有一名自己的Advisor。可以向Advisor寻求一些包括但不限于经济学学业、专业方向以及持续深造或就业导向的问题。</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>中大的学生想要在本科学习生涯中出去交流、参加交换生计划的话，主要有两种渠道：<strong>通过学校（或学院/学系）提供的交流名额，或通过书院提供的交流名额。</strong>两者互不冲突，本科生可以同时申请，但合作的院校和课程会有不同。</p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>各个书院的交流计划区别较大，具体可以上各书院官网上进行了解。</strong>若是学校的交换生计划，香港中文大学则在全球30多个国家提供超过230个学生交换计划名额，拓展学生对不同文化的视野和经验，鼓励学生继续交流，探索世界。</p> <p> </p> <p>根据学校的记录，每年超过1/4的学生都在毕业前进行了交流。所以说，<strong>若是有出国/出境交换的意愿，只要积极申请，机会是特别多的。</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>就我个人而言，我在大三上学期通过学校Office of Academic Links的交换生计划，去了新加坡国立大学（NUS）进行了为期一学期的交流。</p> <p> </p> <p>在那里，我不仅体验了不同的学习方式和学术氛围，还结实了不少热情友好的新加坡朋友和同去交换的国际友人，是大学四年中一段最难以忘怀的美好回忆。</p> <p> </p> <section data-style-type="5" data-tools="新媒体排版" data-id="1892756"> <section data-css="border-color: Unit，可以在线上预约时间，和Career Unit的工作人员进行咨询或是经验交流。</strong>在一些经济系的必修课、导修课上，会课程自己或者与中大经济department合作来提供Interview Practice, Resume与Personal Statement的写作与评核机会，让学生提前准备以迎接和适应本科最后阶段的继续升学或是找工作的挑战。</p> <p> </p> <p>当然，<strong>在指南者教育留学也能接受相关的面试准备营，特别是商科和经济的学生来说，面试在master申请是特别重要的。</strong>面试准备营的结构特别科学，从自我介绍、问候到专业知识，从个人面到群面，提供了非常详细的练习和讲解。</p> <p> </p> <p>在大四或更早，很多同学就面临着要继续升学还是直接就业的问题。</p> <p> </p> <p>就这一点上，以我自己为例子，我也与自己的Advisor、其他经济系的老师探讨过这个问题，讲述了自己迷茫之处，<strong>他们非常详细地帮我分析了Master项目的门槛高低、申请计划，以及继续升学或直接就业的不同好处，让处于迷茫关口的我重新找回了比较清晰的思路。</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>并且，由于继续升学会需要大学里老师的Reference Letter，经济系的教授或讲师都很热情地答应了我的请求，帮我完成这个重要的环节。</p> <p> </p> <p>当然，若是在中大经济学就读本科后，想要继续在中大经济学深造，修读经济学理学硕士的话，有着非常大的优势。因为入学面试时的当场笔试或问答的考察内容，都出自本科课程必修课的学习范围。因此，<strong>若是掌握了本科的内容，在面试时是非常游刃有余的。</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>总得来说，四年在中大经济学本科的学习，是非常丰富且令人怀念的。在这里，我在各方面都获得了不同的成长，也欢迎大家来中大就读！</p>
