padding: 0px 20px; color: #0d3e19; box-sizing: border-box;"> <p style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; box-sizing: border-box;">大一结束以后，我很幸运的成为港大雷德罗学者（Laidlaw Scholar），在伦敦政治经济学院教授Andrew Gillen（现就职于美国西北大学）的指导下开启了自己的第一个研究。导师没有给我固定的题目，唯一的要求就是让我针对工程学院的学生群体，通过社交媒体数据作作想法画像。<strong style="box-sizing: border-box;">滑稽的是，在规定的六周研究时间里，我用了整整四周，非常痛苦挣扎得思考我到底要研究什么题目。</strong>我的心路历程是：从“工程学院学生怎么想，说什么，怎么说，到底和我有什么关系？这种研究结果到底有什么用？”，到“如果教授或学校能知道他们怎么想，那么一定能更容易做决策”，再到“我们的生活有这么大的变动（新冠），了解一群人在这种变动之下想法的变化，本身就是有意思的事情；<strong style="box-sizing: border-box;">了解了大多数学生的主观意愿之后，也更能做到‘教育为他们服务’，更是有意义的事情。</strong>”</p> <p style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; box-sizing: border-box;"> </p> <p style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; box-sizing: border-box;">之后，我用自然语言处理中的情绪分析和话题模拟分析了红迪网（Reddit）上工程学生在新冠前和新冠中各9个月的表现，结合文本阅读和关键词索引，发现新冠并不严重影响学生对未来职业的信心，网络授课通常让学生的态度非常消极，但也有几个原因让部分学生希望延续网络授课模式。</p> </section> <p style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; box-sizing: border-box;"> </p> <section style="color: #0d3e19; padding: 0px 20px; box-sizing: border-box;"> <p style="text-align: left; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; box-sizing: border-box;">我的导师（supervisor）在持续性的、非常非常耐心的引导下让我明白：很多好奇和问题看似“不必要”，但是只要认真揣摩，结合我们生活的时空，总能碰撞出很多有意思的思考；再结合我们想要使受益的群体，就能产生可能的有意义的效用。<strong style="box-sizing: border-box;">如果我们让这些有意思的思考和有意义的效用都白白流走的话，我们思维的体验也真是太被大打折扣，太可惜了。</strong></p> <p style="margin: 0px; box-sizing: border-box;"> </p> <section style="text-align: left; padding: 0px 20px; color: #0d3e19; box-sizing: border-box;"> <p style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; box-sizing: border-box;">在这样的习惯驱使下，我们开始了对非政府组织更深入的思考：比如整个社会需要倾斜多少的资源做公益才算合理，如何衡量一个非政府组织的效用，公益是否会增加当地人民对外界的依赖等等。也在这些思考的奠基之下创造和完成了各自的独立项目——我在校园里设立了卫生比赛，设置辩论社团和计算机社团，让孩子们开始思考自己的社会是否过于依赖公益帮助，开始自己动手设计能标注水井位置的地图，自己计算卫生比赛的得分，从而让卫生比赛的机制可以在我离开之后仍然持续下去。从赞比亚同事的认可，小孩和老师们的感谢里，<strong style="box-sizing: border-box;">我能明显的感觉到，我做的事情在对这个世界产生影响，</strong>即使它们只在处理一些多数人认为理所当然的水和卫生，这样的基本问题。</p> </section> <p style="margin: 0px;
