margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/sucai/cover/1741768243196/1741768243196.png" width="94" height="94" /></p> <p> </p> <p>我们学校开均分证明很麻烦，首先要自己拟格式和英文翻译，然后要先去学部盖章，再去另一个校区的本部教务处盖章。为此我打了好多电话，在两个校区间跑了三四趟，还差点把”加权平均分”写成“算术平均分”，最后终于是卡着ddl上传了成绩单。</p> <p> </p> <p>文书是我最焦虑的部分。在在疾控中心实习时，我发现很多基层数据录入效率低，导致疫情预警延迟，这段经历让我意识到技术和管理结合的重要性，所以想在硕士阶段研究数字化公共卫生系统。  </p> <p> </p> <p>这里必须夸一下指南者的文书老师！<span style="color: #0086d1;">李闺秀老师</span><span style="color: #0086d1;">她甚至帮我查了UCL公共卫生课程的模块，把教授的研究方向也融进了文书里。</span>比如提到一位教授用机器学习预测流感爆发，正好和我用R语言分析数据的经历挂钩。  </p> <p> </p> <h1><strong>不要啊没书读了！</strong></h1> <p> </p> <p>我的申请时间线拉得比较长，从去年10月到今年2月，我的心态也像正弦函数一样波动。</p> <p> </p> <p>10月中旬，我基本上递交了所有申请和齐全的推荐信。<span style="color: #0086d1;">IC的MPH第一个发面试邀请，我自认为答得还可以，但是第二天被秒拒……</span></p> <p> </p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/174176786442279.jpg?watermark/1/image/aHR0cHM6Ly9pbmZvLmNvbXBhc3NlZHUuaGsvd2F0ZXJtYXJrMS5wbmc=/dissolve/100/gravity/SouthEast/dx/0/dy/0/ws/0.25/wst/2" alt="" width="376" height="283" /></p> <p> </p> <p>比如我心心念念的UCL在伦敦，毗邻大英博物馆，各种资源都十分丰富。<span style="color: #0086d1;">虽然UCL给我的con offer里要求均分90（我目前只有89.5）</span>，但算了下加上毕设或许能达标，网上也不乏一些不到CON分也上了UCL的例子，所以决定还是先接了UCL。 </p> <p> </p> <p>申请的学校基本都是要求雅思7，苛刻的比如UCL甚至要求小分也都是7。这里建议大家早点开始准备且多考几次，说不定就直接考出达标分数了。不要像我一样，大四上学期第一次就考了雅思7之后就摆烂没怎么学，导致现在需要为了con的语言分狂学英语。</p> <p> </p> <p>不过我决定转考PTE了，听了指南者蔡诗静老师和考过的朋友介绍都说它是技巧性很强的一门考试，可以通过短时间大量刷题来集中备考，比如DI提醒套用模板说得足够熟练就能拿分。 </p> <p> </p> <h1><strong> 硬背景vs软背景，谁更重要？</strong></h1> <p> </p> <p><span style="color: #0086d1;">英国香港新加坡的学校都十分看重均分。</span>我们专业课不仅难度大而且老师给分也严，我大一有一门课只有75分，为了拉高均分，大二特意选了几门水选修课刷分。所以建议想申新港英的诸位都好好刷绩点。</p> <p> </p> <p>实习经历或者工作经历也必不可少。<strong>正是因为新加坡国立大学的MPH需要一年工作经验我才没办法申请。</strong>于我而言，在医院和地方疾控中心的实习，尤其是在疾控急性传染病防控部门的“百日咳数据监测”经历算得上有特色，好几次面试都被问了一嘴。建议大家找实习时优先选能接触核心项目的岗位，哪怕打杂也要主动揽活，因为都可以和文书老师讨论后将其修饰写进文书里。</p> <p> </p> <p>我的科研经历不算强，既没有论文发表也没有专利，但文书老师帮我挖掘出了课程设计项目和暑假研究项目。当然，<span style="color: #0086d1;"><strong>也要铭记老师说的竞赛性价比很高！</strong></span>我大二参加“挑战者杯”英语写作比赛，花了几天时间准备混了个二等奖，也算是凑数地写进了简历。</p> <p> </p> <p>最后，留学申请是场信息战。比如港大的公共卫生专业其实有多个方向，有的偏政策，有的偏流行病统计，指南者的老师直接帮我选了更适合我的专业方向。所以，一定要和中介老师多沟通，这里推荐大家可以使用指南者选校助手，上面关于各大院校专业的信息都很全面，是很好用的留学信息检索工具。</p> <p> </p> <p>回想这一路，从大二和爸妈吵架，到顶着黑眼圈改文书，再到收到offer的狂喜，每一步都不容易。但很庆幸自己坚持下来了，没有随大流去考研，而是选了更适合自己的路。希望我的经历能帮到大家，祝各位申请顺利！</p> <p> </p> <p><em><strong>END</strong></em></p> <p style="color: rgba(16, 15, 16, 0.87);"> </p> <p><strong>需要一对一留学规划指导</strong></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>扫码填写表单，获取专属顾问咨询</strong></p> <p> </p> <p><img style="display: block;
