</span> </span> <span class="card-operate active"> <span class="edit"> &nbsp; </span> <span class="content"> &nbsp; </span> </span> </span></strong></div> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>留学对许多人来说是一场关乎梦想和成长的旅程。无论是为了追求更高的学术成就，还是为了开阔眼界，走向更广阔的世界，每个人的申请之路都充满了努力、挣扎和收获。我也不例外。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>时过境迁，新的一年考研也已结束。<strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">二战太累、gap太亏、工作难找......</span></strong>去年的我直到出分才思考留学这条路，而现在我已在利兹度过了我充实、特别的第一学期。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">原来，留学真的能给人托底！</span></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>回首这段旅程，我希望通过分享我的申请经验，能为即将踏上这条路的学弟学妹们提供些许帮助。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h1><strong>&ldquo;兜兜转转还是去留学了&rdquo;</strong></h1> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>回顾我的申请旅程，一切都始于考研失利。大四我着手准备考研，信心满满但是竞争激烈，由于自己过度自信加上今年的数学试题偏难，我在数学这科上遭遇了滑铁卢。然而在考完试后成绩出来前，我对自己仍然十分自信，<strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">最后结果出来，差了复试线15分。</span></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>知道成绩的那一刻我瞬间迷茫了，我和父母当天就二战、留学以及直接工作产生了激烈的争执。我当时的自信心直接坍塌，不想再二战，害怕如果再失败，又是浪费一年的时间。我父母也不想让我直接去工作，他们对当下的就业状况比较了解，如果只是一个普通双一流学校的本科文凭，根本找不到好工作。最终协商下来，留学似乎是当下的最优选。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_phpBvVTLK.jpg" alt="" width="598" height="274" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>其实早在我高考完，父母就有提出留学的建议，因为他们身边有很多朋友的孩子，都选择了留学这条路，并且在回国后都找到了心仪的工作，有着不错的前景。但是当时我拒绝了他们的建议。主要是因为当时还小，对于一个人去国外上学有点恐惧，其次我当时的高考成绩也不是很优秀，我个人觉得能考上一个双一流学校已经不错了。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>现在大学四年过去，<strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">我适应了一个人在外地生活，对自己也有了更清晰的认知，</span></strong>也接受了出国留学。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h1><strong>&ldquo;冷门专业，更好冲刺&rdquo;</strong></h1> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">确定了留学时已经是3月初，时间太晚。</span></strong>我了解到英国可以不带雅思成绩申请，而且英国学制短，只有一年，具有性价比。于是我们就打算赶紧找到留学中介开始申请。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>我父母和我也是在成都和南京分别找了很多留学机构横向比对。父亲的朋友在知道我打算出国的事情后，给我们推荐了指南者。我们去线下咨询时见到了指南者专业的录取数据库和经验丰富的申请老师，最终决定找指南者帮忙申请。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>申请学校的选择无疑是最关键的环节之一。由于我的留学申请是临时起意，<strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">本科前三年没有为留学准备较高的绩点和丰富的实习，因此我就选择申请与自己本科学的重合度高的项目，</span></strong>这样专业重合度高，申请起来也更加容易。再加上我的的学科本来就比较冷门，指南者的老师也建议我冲刺一下较好的学校，如爱丁堡大学。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_phppzEavf.jpg" alt="" width="417" height="459" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>最终申请方案定下来：主申<strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">利兹大学、格拉斯哥大学</span></strong>等qs排名50-100的学校，冲刺爱丁堡大学。我在申请时除去冲刺的爱丁堡，其实最想去的就是利兹大学。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>我上了每个学校的官网，研究了它们的课程结构，格拉斯哥和南安普顿都有点偏向环境方向，利兹偏人文一点。此外利兹大学有很多编程课，我在本科学习中编程是我的薄弱项，<strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">而且GIS的就业也是编程方向的前景好一些。</span></strong>我想利兹大学的课程会让我学到更丰富的东西。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h1><strong>&ldquo;去香港考雅思，玄学！&rdquo;</strong></h1> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>语言是申请留学的一块&ldquo;硬门槛&rdquo;，我申请的学校雅思基本都要6.5（5.5），其中爱丁堡大学要7（6）。我在决定留学之后立马就开始学起了雅思，考虑到我的英语成绩还不错，我就报了一个学雅思的大班，一个班6个人，从三月中旬开始连着15天每天都上课，听力、阅读、写作、口语平均分配课时。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>我报名选择的是机考，因为机考场次多，出分快，<strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">就算没考过我也能迅速找到自己的弱项进行针对性的查漏补缺，</span></strong>快速转战下一次的考试。学完后第一次考试我的结果不尽人意，写作和口语都只有5.5分。之后半个月我打算专门针对这两科系统学习一下再去考一次，结果第二次考试写作提到了6.5，但是口语还是只有5.5。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_phpFpNyuE.jpg" alt="" width="564" height="478" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>由于我还是很想冲刺爱丁堡，但是绩点已经变不了，我就想冲刺雅思高分来提高下成功率，而当时第二次考完雅思是4月底，离爱丁堡的审理日期只剩一个月左右（5月底），可是我的口语却始终是5.5。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>父母也是咨询了很多中介、老师问怎么快速提高雅思分数，有人给到去香港考试的建议。因为我的总分问题不大，主要口语小分过不了，而香港口语相较大陆给分会高一点。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">于是我毅然决然报名了5月底去香港考雅思的考团，</span></strong>同时又找了个老师专门训练口语，5月中再在大陆考一次。老师带我把口语题库全部串了一遍，月中去考试时我觉得发挥的不错，可是口语却又是5.5分。最后在审理日期前提交给爱丁堡合格雅思成绩的机会就只有月底去香港考的这一次了。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_php0UMJZl.jpg" alt="" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>去香港考试我仍然选择的是机考，考试的试题以及机考的系统几乎和大陆没有区别。但是在考口语时，不知道是网络还是其它什么原因，有一段时间根本听不到考官的问题，画面也卡住了，给我整的有些慌乱，重连回来之后我也没有了先前的节奏，说的有些乱。走出考场我心里很是失望，感觉口语又到不了6分了。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>两天后的大清早，我收到了查看雅思成绩的邮件。我登录网址合着双手祈祷口语能到6分，结果一看，不止口语得了6分，听力和阅读都取得了8.5分的好成绩，<strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">最后总分到了7.5分。</span></strong>我开心坏了，立马把成绩单发给了老师帮我补交给爱丁堡。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_phpJCGiwo.jpg" alt="" width="472" height="431" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">香港雅思似乎真的有魔力，</span></strong>从3月到5月我一共考了4次雅思，除了口语每一科目都或多或少有些变动，唯独口语每次都是5.5，但是到香港考一次，在我个人感觉发挥不好的情况下都能拿到6分。强烈建议各位雅思口语万年5.5到香港去试试。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h1><strong>&ldquo;匮乏却能拼凑的经历&rdquo;</strong></h1> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>申请我其实很害怕最后收不到好的offer，<strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">因为我的背景太普通了，</span></strong>我本科四年其实没有任何实习和科研经历。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>但是我参加了两次学校培养计划内的校内实习。第一次是去到峨眉山，我的学校在那里有一个实习基地，主要是进行地质方面的工作，最终也是写了一篇小文章来展示学习成果。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_phpJSHNHb.jpg" alt="" width="333" height="444" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>第二次是去江油市马角镇，在那里进行了一系列从外业收集数据到内业处理数据的工作，还学习了飞行无人机，最终写了一篇论文形式的文章，对马角镇的生态、生产、生活空间进行综合评价。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>此外有许多课的最终考核也都是写一篇论文格式的文章，包括毕业论文。申请老师告诉我这些其实都能当作实习和科研经历，这些文章虽然没有发表，但是和我申请的方向有密切的联系，我认为这就够了。<strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">我在文书中其实也没有提到这些文章是否发表之类，只是写明白了我具备这些专业知识并将它们加以应用。</span></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h1><strong>&ldquo;漫长煎熬的等待&rdquo;</strong></h1> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>申请过程中，等待是最煎熬的时刻。从递交材料到收到第一封offer的时间很短，大概就半个月左右。当第一封来自谢菲尔德大学的offer到来时，我的喜悦难以言表，这封offer也给我当时学习雅思提供了很大的动力。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>可是又过了半个月，我却一封offer都没有收到。老实说这时我还是很焦虑的。谢菲尔德只是我的一个保底院校，<strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">当时收到它的offer我还以为是开门红，现在却成了唯一的选择。</span></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>在四月份面临了巨大的时间压力和心理挑战，每天不仅要上雅思课，准备二战雅思，还得兼顾毕业论文的写作，可以说，那是一段既充实又煎熬的日子。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_phpDVHY2t.jpg" alt="" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>刚开始时，我常常觉得力不从心。每天白天上完课，回学校晚上我都会花一两个小时去学校的湖边自说自话的练口语，再回宿舍撰写毕业论文；晚上躺在床上也常常在想这口语的题库。虽然很累，但最终我还是坚持了下来。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">又过了半个月，我每天晚上都不停的刷新邮箱，希望offer的到来，</span></strong>终于在一天凌晨，格拉斯哥给我发offer了。这是我第一封比较满意的offer，毕竟是QS前百的院校，但我还是更想去利兹，我相信利兹的offer也快了。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>到了5月中，我收到了利兹和南安普顿的offer。此时我已经很满意了。除了冲刺的爱丁堡，其他学校的offer全部拿下，但是父母还是希望我赶紧考出较高的雅思成绩补交给爱丁堡。很可惜在我把8.5（6）的成绩补交给爱丁堡后，没多久就收到了拒信。还是本科没有提早准备留学，绩点太低了&hellip;...</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="color: #0086d1;"><strong>总而言之，能收到利兹的offer我觉得已经很满足了。</strong></span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h1><strong>写在最后</strong></h1> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>这一年的申请旅程，总的看来还算顺利。<span style="color: #0086d1;"><strong>从我真正打算留学到考完雅思收到unconditional offer仅仅过去了3个多月的时间。</strong></span>一开始由于刚刚经历考研失败，对自己极度缺乏自信心的我也会担心会不会没有学校要，毕竟看到很多往年收到offer的人的背景都比我好。<strong>但其实专业方向重合度高，再加上平均分绩点达到学校的要求，还是有很大概率收到offer的。</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>中途还是有一些艰难险阻。最令我感到困难的部分还是时间管理。毕业论文、雅思和申请同时进行，让我一度感到分身乏术；此外在等待offer的过程中也是焦虑和压力感拉满。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>其实反思下来，留学真的需要尽早准备。<span style="color: #0086d1;"><strong>准备的早甚至可以和考研、保研同时进行，哪怕是在没出成绩之前做两手准备。</strong></span>像我这样考研失败后再准备虽然来的及，但太赶了，我相信要是我能更早的准备，能得到更好的结果。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block;
