color: #1890ff;">NUS第二届数据科学与机器学习Data Science and Machine Learning</span></a>的老阿姨（划掉），在这里和大家分享一下我第一学期的就读体验和在新加坡的生活种种。</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><strong><span class="h1">项目学习体验</span></strong></p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">来到这里最大的感触就是&mdash;&mdash;大佬太多！太多！太多了！身边的同学都来自很不错的985或者海本院校，还有清北毕业的大佬！本科主修CS的同学很多，分分钟带你飞起。师资力量也很给力，不乏牛剑的年轻Dr.（且很帅嘿嘿）。我来这里一定是上辈子拯救了世界吧哈哈哈哈！</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><img style="width: 193px; height: 180px; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; float: none;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/sucai/content/1642670327618/1642670327618.png" width="193" height="180" /></p> <p style="text-align: justify;">我们这个项目一共要修十门课，4门必修+5门选修，还有一门实习课，毕业年限是1-2年。课程大多也和CS息息相关，对于本科数学且编程基础不太强的我来说，有些课程就不是那么友好了，但是认真学起来也没有那么难！</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">我属于修学分比较佛系的，所以我保持每个学期上三门课。部分课程是线上模式，还有双轨制形式的，不过大部分课程都有录像，所以有不懂的可以随时复习！</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><img style="width: 581px; height: 408px; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; float: none;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/sucai/content/1642670477239/1642670477239.png" width="561" height="408" /></p> <p style="text-align: center;"><span class="h6">（课程设置）</span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">第一个学期我选了以下三门课：</p> <ul> <li style="text-align: justify;">DSA5101：Introduction to Big Data for Industry</li> <li style="text-align: justify;">DSA5102X：Foundation of Machine Learning</li> <li style="text-align: justify;">ST5225：Statistical Analysis of Networks</li> </ul> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">这三门课程内容都比较硬核。其中我最喜欢<strong>Foundation of Machine Learning </strong>这门课, 它主要讲了机器学习算法的数学原理，学完之后我对编程和学习计算机有了不少兴趣，也有了一些底气。Introduction to Big Data for Industry 这门课扮演了一个过渡的角色，讲的内容比较广泛，比如python、 R语言以及机器学习算法的运用，统计学知识，网页制作等等。Statistical Analysis of Networks 是统计的一门课，也挺有趣的，会涉及图论的知识，最后运用R语言来写project。</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">第二个学期我选了：</p> <ul> <li style="text-align: justify;">DSA5204：Deep Learning</li> <li style="text-align: justify;">CS5224：Cloud Computing</li> <li style="text-align: justify;">DSA4212：Optimization for Large-Scale Data-Driven Inference</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>这三门难度应该会上几个档次，但是据学长学姐说都很实用。具体情况之后有机会再和大家分享！</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">这半年下来，NUS的DSML还是很符合我当时对硕士项目的预期。因为我本科就读的金融数学专业总体偏理论，所以我想<strong>学习一些更利于实践的课程</strong>，比如统计方向、金工方向，还有数据科学之类的项目。同时本科期间，我的实践经历也不是很多，想通过硕士阶段看看自己是适合成为社会人还是继续深造。有类似困惑或者打算的学弟学妹们可以参考一下~</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">至于在申请时，<strong>坡县的确比较侧重于硬件的</strong>，从周围同学的院校背景就可以看出来了。不过对我这种&ldquo;临时起意型选手&rdquo;还算友好（=软件较弱，硬件还行）。总之，大家记住！投其所好成功率更大！相比于在内地跨专业读研，比如跨专业考研的难度，留学申请的包容性更强，对于有意愿大跨度改变自己专业的学弟学妹们来说是个不错的选择。而且留学申请的衡量指标也更加多元化，只要你某个方面足够优秀，就有机会踏进梦校大门！</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><strong><span class="h1">在坡的生活体验</span></strong></p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">NUS的学校环境还是很棒的。学校里有很多图书馆，这个是我比较喜欢的自习室。以及学习后在Utown的草地上走一走，也是很放松的一件事。</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><img style="width: 378px;
