To aid the department in fostering their graduate studies and professional pursuits, prospective students should explain why they are interested in earning an advanced degree in the field. They should also indicate clearly which M.A. Emphasis (Ancient History, Classical Archaeology, Latin Pedagogy, Classical Philology, or Latin Philology) they intend to pursue. Applicants should also indicate whether or not they will be applying for financial aid.
