A doctoral thesis research program for which financial support is available. Those accepted with bachelor’s degrees will need to achieve a thesis master’s degree within the program before continuing on to PhD. A stand-alone thesis MS degree program is not offered. Previous MS degrees are approved or denied upon completion of ELEC 599 in the first year.
A non-thesis master’s program consisting of coursework. Financial support is not available in this program. Often whole or partial financial support is provided by the student's employer in the workforce. The M.E.E. may be pursued part-time with a minimum of 3 credit hours per semester.
